In OdysseyGuessr multiplayer every player starts with 5,000 HP, and each round the score gap between players becomes damage. Understanding the rule changes how you play. For wider tactics, read the multiplayer strategy guide.
The rule
- Everyone guesses the same place.
- The best score in the round takes no damage.
- Every other player loses HP equal to half the gap between their score and the best score.
- Late rounds hurt more: damage is doubled near the end of the match.
An example
If the best score is 4,000 and yours is 2,000, the gap is 2,000 and you lose 1,000 HP in a normal round, or 2,000 in a doubled round.
When does a match end?
A match ends when only one player still has HP, or when the rounds run out. In the second case the player with the most HP wins.
Strategy
- A wrong kingdom scores zero, so it deals the biggest damage to you. Be sure about the kingdom first.
- You do not need a perfect pin, only a better one than your opponents.
- Save your safest guesses for the doubled rounds.
Modes and timers
The host picks the number of rounds, the timer and the game mode, for example Blur or Flash. Players who run out of HP switch to spectating.
