Play the Super Mario Odyssey guessing game

OdysseyGuessr is a free, GeoGuessr-style Mario Odyssey guessing game. Each round drops you into a screenshot taken somewhere in Super Mario Odyssey. Study the architecture, the sky, the vegetation and the Power Moon markers, choose which of the 17 kingdoms you are looking at, then zoom into the kingdom map and pin the exact spot the screenshot was captured from.

How a round is scored

Picking the wrong kingdom scores zero points. Pick the right kingdom and your score depends on how close your pin lands to the real location — a perfect pin is worth 5,000 points. You can play 3, 5 or a custom number of rounds, with an optional timer, and Easy Mode limits rounds to the most recognisable locations.

Tips for your first rounds

• Zoom into the screenshot: signage, currency designs and enemies are kingdom-specific.
• Sand, Metro and Seaside Kingdom have the biggest maps, so pin placement matters most there.
• Read the Mario Odyssey kingdom guides before a serious run.
