Smoother reveals & a quieter badge application
After guessing, Blur now clears smoothly and Zoom quickly eases out to the full screenshot. The YouTuber badge application link sits below the donation options, beneath PayPal, and disappears from the main menu when you already have the badge.
Resume Daily Play, clean reveals & PayPal
Daily Play now saves every guess and resumes your saved round after a reload instead of starting again. Zoom and Blur screenshots become clear after guessing, with a Close button to inspect the full place. Settings now shows your average points per round. The main menu has a quiet YouTuber badge application link and PayPal as an additional donation option. Public badge and YouTuber pages are included in the sitemaps.
YouTuber badge applications & four new badges
Made a video playing OdysseyGuessr? Submit your YouTube link on the new YouTuber badge page and get the badge automatically once it's accepted — you'll get an email either way. New badges: Streaker (30-day Daily Play streak), Sharpshooter (4,800+ average per round), Contributor (3+ accepted places) and Supporter (for donors). My places now shows how players score on all your places, including older ones, plus a new Under review section.

A new Badges page explains every badge and exactly how to earn it. The whole site is now fully translated into English, Deutsch, Français and Español.
Badges, streaks, My places & sharing
Badges now appear next to names on the leaderboard and in online matches: Creator, Moderator, Legend, YouTuber and Gamer. Daily Play tracks your streak, Daily Play moved into the Play menu, My places shows how other players did on the places you submitted, and you can share your results after a game. The leaderboard highlights your own row and shows your rank even outside the top 50. Plus 15 new blog guides.
Daily Play, leaderboards & Blur mode
Every day everyone gets the same 5 places in Daily Play — one try per day, with its own leaderboard. The new all-time leaderboard ranks players by total points. Online matches show each player's average points per round, every mode can be chosen in multiplayer, and the new Blur mode lets you pick a strength from 1 to 100.
Spectator mode, verified emails & pin accuracy
When a player runs out of HP in a 3–4 player match they now switch to spectator mode automatically — the map hides and they can watch the remaining players finish the game instead of still landing damage. New accounts receive a branded verification email so we can keep spam and throwaway accounts out of the lobbies. The map pin was drifting on some phones because the icon was centered on the click instead of pointing at it — pins now anchor their tip exactly where you tap.
Legal pages, footer & new site structure
We've added a proper site footer with links to every corner of OdysseyGuessr, plus Impressum, Terms, Privacy, About, Contact and FAQ pages. Everything is now easier to navigate — and we're compliant with German § 5 DDG legal-notice requirements.
Dark mode, four languages & a better home screen
OdysseyGuessr now speaks English, Deutsch, Français and Español out of the box. A new Settings menu lets you switch language and toggle between light and dark mode — the dark palette has been rebuilt with a Bowser-inspired maroon accent. The home screen now has a clean Singleplayer / Multiplayer toggle so you can jump straight into a lobby without extra clicks.
Real-time multiplayer with HP battles
The multiplayer mode is here. Create a lobby, share the code (with streamer mode to mask it on-stream), or use Quick Match to fight a random opponent. Each round the better guess deals damage to the loser; from round 5 damage doubles. Nicknames now show next to HP bars.
Player-submitted places
You can now submit your own favourite Super Mario Odyssey screenshots. Upload the image, pick the kingdom, pin the exact spot on the map, and a moderator reviews it. Approved places go straight into the rotation for everyone.
