How OdysseyGuessr multiplayer works

Every match is a head-to-head geography duel through the kingdoms of Super Mario Odyssey. Each round, all 2 to 4 players see the same screenshot at the same time. You pick the kingdom, drop a pin on the kingdom map, and lock in your guess. Whoever is closest to the real spot deals HP damage to everyone else — the further off you are, the more you lose. From round 5 onward damage doubles, so late-game mistakes hurt.

Private lobbies

Private lobbies are perfect for playing with friends: pick your round count, timer, and max players (2, 3, or 4), then share the 6-letter lobby code. As host you can kick players before the match starts and turn on streamer mode to hide the code on screen. The host can also choose any game mode before the match begins — Classic, Easy, Zoom, Flash or Blur. See every game mode in OdysseyGuessr multiplayer for tips on which mode suits which group.

Quick Match

Quick Match instantly pairs you with another random player for a 5-round, 60-second-per-round duel. It is the fastest way to find an opponent when none of your friends are online, and every round you play also adds to your all-time points on the OdysseyGuessr leaderboard.

Tips before your first match
