Is OdysseyGuessr free?
Yes. The game is completely free. It's kept online through ads and voluntary donations — please consider whitelisting the site in your adblocker or leaving a tip.
Do I need an account?
You can play a limited number of guest rounds per day without one. Sign in with email or Google for unlimited play, multiplayer, place submissions, and progress that follows you.
How is scoring calculated?
Each round awards points based on two things: whether you picked the correct kingdom, and how close your pin is to the actual location on the map. A perfect guess is worth the maximum points, and it scales smoothly down from there.
How does multiplayer work?
Both players start with 5000 HP. Each round both players make a guess; the difference in score is dealt as damage to the player with the lower score. From round 5 onwards damage is doubled (sudden death). Run your opponent out of HP to win.
How do I submit a place?
Sign in and open the Submit place button on the home screen. Upload a clear in-game screenshot, pick the kingdom, and pin the exact location on the map. A moderator will review it and add it to the game if it fits.
What if I get an image that seems wrong?
Use the Suggest an idea button on the home screen and tell us the round and what looked off. We fix reported issues fast.
Is this made by Nintendo?
No. OdysseyGuessr is an unofficial, non-commercial fan project. All Super Mario Odyssey assets belong to Nintendo Co., Ltd. Please support the original game.
