This ranking is our editorial opinion, not game data. It reflects how recognisable each kingdom is and how easy it is to place a pin once you know the kingdom. Your own results on My places may differ, so treat it as a starting point.
Easy to place
- Cap Kingdom: a small, distinctive area.
- Cascade Kingdom: compact, with strong landmarks.
- Lake Kingdom: small and unique in look.
Medium
- Metro Kingdom: easy to name, harder to pin among similar streets.
- Snow Kingdom: easy to name, but white scenery hides detail.
- Seaside Kingdom and Luncheon Kingdom: themed, with clear zones.
- Wooded Kingdom: vertical, so height matters.
Hard
- Sand Kingdom: a huge map where the kingdom is obvious and the spot is not.
- Moon Kingdom: craters repeat.
- Dark Side and Darker Side: few landmarks and repeating platforms.
How to use the tiers
Spend your study time on the hard tier, because a wrong pin on a big map costs the most points. Use Easy mode to warm up.
