Many places in OdysseyGuessr are submitted by players. A good submission is fun to guess, fair and accurately pinned. Here is how to make one. The basic steps are in the submission guide.
What makes a good place
- A clear, in-game screenshot without menus or overlays.
- Enough detail to guess from: a landmark, building or distinctive terrain.
- A spot that is not impossible, such as a plain wall.
Pin it carefully
Choose the right kingdom, then zoom into the map and mark exactly where the camera was. An inaccurate pin makes the place unfair, and players lose points they should have earned.
What moderators check
Moderators review each submission before it joins the game. They look at image quality, the right kingdom and a correct pin. Repeated misuse can get a submitter banned from submitting.
