The flame next to a name on the leaderboard shows how many days in a row that player has completed Daily Play. Here is how it works and how to protect it. For the basics see the Daily Play guide.
How the streak works
Everyone gets the same five places each day, and you can play them once. Every day with a finished run counts. The streak is the number of consecutive days up to today or yesterday, so you still have today to keep it alive.
Habits that protect it
- Play at the same time every day, such as with your morning coffee.
- Play early. If you leave it until the evening, a busy day can break the chain.
- Remember the day changes at midnight UTC, which may not match your local midnight.
- Do not aim for perfection. A finished run keeps the streak, even if the score is low.
Make it count
Daily Play is also the best practice you can get: the same places for everyone means you can compare notes with friends. After each run, look up the kingdom in the kingdom guides.
